Amphitheatre idyll

A formal garden with strong lines and planting which makes a tranquil oasis. The finished garden uses fossil mint sandstone for the paving and Irish cream sandstone for the amphitheatre which is used for a dining area catching the full sun. Walk over lights, hidden wall lights and uplighters allow the garden to be used in the evening too. A box hedge either side of the central path is used to divide and surround two planting beds that contain a mixture of shrubs and flowers.
